Becoming a Fashion Print Model
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2009 9am-12pm -
— This course will allow the students to become familiar with the camera. Develop your self-confidence by correcting your posture and outlook of yourself. This session allows you to recognize some of your less favorable attributes and helps you to concentrate on developing your positive and most attractive aspects. Also, learn correct social and professional manners, protocol and customs.Week 1 -Photo Posing l -Self Confidence
Week 2 -Photo Posing II — This course will show the students the
difference between on location posing verses in studio.
Week 3 -Photo Posing lll—Quick and easy poses will be demonstratedfor a variety of outfits. Learn how to prepare for a photo shoot and select
outfits according to your look, style, personality and age. Let’s do it the Hi
Fashion way.
Week 4 -Posing with another model —Learn how to coordinatewith another person for best results. You choose your favorite shoot .
Week 5 - Beauty : A special guest make-up artist will lead this workshop session, demonstrating techniques to improve your features with corrective cosmetics. Also hair tips to complete your total look before your big shoot.
Week 6 - Model Presentation: In this final session, you'll learn the
dynamics of marketing yourself to the fashion world, including putting
together a photo portfolio and creating zed cards. In this final session, 3
judges will judge you by your photo shoots and runway modeling sessions.
They will pick one model to win a 5 page spread in Dysonna’s next
magazine. The dynamics of this session is that you are marketing yourself
to the fashion world.

In this model series for fashion and photography models, you'll learn what it takes to become a successful print model. All students who participated in the this series (all four classes) will learn how to pose in a professional photo shoot and will get a chance to appear in Dysonna the magazine. Also appear in our live City Mix fashion show. The Courage to Create
This class will help to motivate and challenge you to bring out your hidden creativity. If it’s acting, modeling, singing, drawing, writing or playing a sport. Learn how to express yourself artistically and overcome any fears that may be blocking your creativity.

Visualizing Your Dreams
This class will help you to move in the right direction toward achieving your dreams, finishing those projects you're having difficulty with, and turning your ideas into reality.

Fashion modeling
Keep an eye out for the
on the web site, to find opportunities specifically for fashion students and
professionals. Fashion classes are usually offered on Saturdays in either a
morning or afternoon session. Fashion events are usually held on Saturdays,
Sundays and Mondays.
Modeling classes
Dysonna’s fashion classes help to instill the self-confidence and skills needed for emerging models and designers in the highly competitive world of fashion. We help our students achieve their goals, by giving them the professional skills that will get them in the door. From basic posing and runway training, to putting together an eye-catching portfolio, our students emerge ready to take on any challenge.
Modeling Series - beginner
In this five-week series for beginning fashion and photography models, you'll learn what it takes to become a successful model. All students who participate in the entire series (all five classes) will be given the opportunity to appear in a City Mix fashion show or be fit with a professional photographer.
Class 1 INTRODUCTION TO MODELING
This class will look at the basic fundamentals of modeling. This course will also discuss the importance of self-esteem, confidence, and self-image as you enter the world of modeling.

In this five-week series for experienced fashion and photography models, you'll learn the skills and techniques needed to take your career to the next level and achieve your dreams as a professional model. All students who participate in the entire series (all TEN classes) in the final class there will be 3 judges to judge you by your photo shoots and runway modeling sessions. They will pick two models to win a 5 page spread in DYSONNA LA MAGAZINE. Date to be announced. Also a City Mix Fashion Show
Class 6 ADVANCE RUNWAY TRAINING
Actively participate and get comfortable on the runway in this exciting training class, where you'll learn the latest techniques in turns, expression, projection, and personal presentation. Work on scenes for a fashion show. We will introduce photography on the runway.

A special guest make-up artist will lead this workshop, demonstrating techniques to improve your features with corrective cosmetics. We will also be inviting a nutritionist to give expertise on maintaining a healthy balance.
